Convergence
Many threads converge in this sculptural
bench, created in collaboration with the
Chinese company, Banlan. The design’s
distinctive silhouette developed from the
precedent of the curved seats of traditional
Chinese stools, its simple rebate edge
detail, which began as an extended
shadow gap, becoming a modern
interpretation of the classic horse foot.
