‘Where the light falls like rain…’ Arthur Rimbaud

In these photographs of the new Bastian gallery in Berlin, where the designer of the spaces is also the author of the work currently hanging on its walls, the architecture is experienced not so much in terms of mass and volume, but through the medium of light, as a delicately layered composition of surface, threshold and atmosphere.
