Another pentagonal tower

Following the visit to Zumthor’s Bruder Klaus chapel in Germany — described in
the September post, ‘A walk across fields
in western Germany’ — our attention was drawn to another pentagonal form, this
one built in the 15th century in Spain.
The Castillo de Buitrago del Lozoya is rectangular in plan and has seven towers
of different geometries, including the five-sided structure on the right hand side of
the top image.
