Venice Architecture Biennale
2004
One of nine studios whose work was showcased in the
British Pavilion of the 2004 Venice Architecture Biennale, the office elected
to exhibit a single project, the new Cistercian monastery of Novy Dvur.
The opening ceremonies in Venice fell exactly one week after
celebrations in Bohemia, presided over by the Bishop of Pilsen, marking
the consecration of the monastery’s church.
